Generelle Anmerkungen: Zusammengestellt auf Grundlage der Urschriften und Auswertung umfangreicher Sekundärliteratur von Ulrich Brosch (Hille) und Dr. Stefan Naumann (Berlin). In der Datenbank der Verfassers wurden durch systematische Recherchen im Laufe der vergangenen Jahre mehr als 4500 Taxa und Namen zur Familie Saturniidae zusammengetragen und mit allen zugänglich Informationen in einer Datenbank erfaßt.
